Overcast and snowing today, the last couple of days the temperatures have been a little warmer but now they are dropping again. Snow is good on the mountain, especially on the higher slopes. Higher slopes at Lech are quite sparse of snow with many closed - seems to have been very windy up there.

It snowed for most of yesterday evening and carried on into the night. Today we have getting on for 30cm of fresh snow, the snow is still falling but only gently. Cloudy and overcast.

Temperatures are still very cold in the resort. More snow is forecast from Wednesday onwards. The higher slopes have some great snow on them and there has been good powder to ski over the opening weekend. The lower slopes where there is a lot of man made snow are very hard and not so nice to ski. The snow makers are on full time and it will not be long before a run down to the village is prepared.

The temperatures are due to fall drastically at the weekend and with this comes a large snowfall, especially Friday & Sunday.

Cold and clear today but the big news is that the snow is arriving right on time. The forecast is predicting loads of it from Wednesday onwards - snowing every day for about a week....
